Google announces the opening of the Chrome Web Store in Italy, to access web applications to run on Chrome.
Google is also opening its Chrome Web Store in Italy, a go-to destination to access programs and web applications that extend the capabilities of the browser from Big G.
Launched in our country, the service actually became available about 9 months ago in the United States, with its collection of about 40,000 web applications. Starting today, it’s also arriving in Italy.
Besides communicating perfectly with the Chrome browser, the Web Store is undoubtedly the most important tool for anyone who owns a Chromebook, one of the PCs launched by Google based on the cloud concept.
This way, you can work around the issue of excessive memory usage, since the applications available on the Chrome Web Store install directly on the browser, thus not impacting the PC.
The consequence – and benefit – is that the applications will always be accessible on other devices as well, as long as they are equipped with Chrome.
On the occasion of the launch of the Chrome Web Store in Italy, some major companies have decided to collaborate to offer users applications related to:
– AC Milan;
– Juventus;
– Il Sole 24 Ore;
– Donna Moderna;
– Gruppo Finelco;
– Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena;
– Fiat Group;
– Volagratis;
– Mutuionline.
The Chrome Web Store marketplace is already active, ready to handle payments in euros and also offer free applications.
