Casio EXILIM EX-ZS150 is one of Casio’s most recent releases, unveiled during CES 2012. Here are its features, technical specifications, and functions.
Casio EXILIM EX-ZS150 stood out at CES 2012 among Casio’s new cameras for its remarkable zoom and wide-angle capabilities. The camera is indeed equipped with a 12.5x optical zoom and a 24mm wide-angle lens.
As for the sensor, a 16.1 effective Megapixel sensor has been chosen.
The Casio EXILIM EX-ZS150 undoubtedly distinguishes itself with an extremely simplified approach to its use: shots will always be quite sharp and precise, simply by pressing the button located at the top, on the upper edge.
All this is thanks to the Premium Auto Lite mode, a function that quickly analyzes the scene of interest, selecting the best possible settings at that moment.
This peculiarity proves particularly useful in low-light conditions, against the light, or when you want to take a portrait, thus activating facial recognition, another interesting function.
Casio EXILIM EX-ZS150 can also operate in environments where it’s important not to make noise or not to use the flash: for these situations, the “Silent Mode” function has been created.
This camera is therefore also useful for shooting HD videos at a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels; there isn’t much to do to set this mode, you just need to press the “Movie” button, without having to set anything else, as everything will happen automatically and naturally.
Everything can be controlled and reviewed instantly via the 6.9 cm diagonal TFT color display (equivalent to 2.7 inches).
The price of the Casio EXILIM EX-ZS150 has not yet been announced.
