News from Acer’s mobile division: a new phablet has just been unveiled, named Acer Liquid S1.
The smartphone fully belongs to this category because it has a 5.7-inch screen.
Indeed, it is an HD display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels.
The processor is a MediaTek quad-core with a frequency of 1.5 GHz, supported by 1 GB of RAM. The internal memory is 8 GB, expandable with a microSD card up to 32 GB.
The natively available operating system is Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, while regarding connectivity, it features Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and 3G.
However, there is no mention of any LTE or any other G network module.
The list of known technical specifications is completed by the 2400 mAh battery.
It is worth noting that this phablet will be offered in two versions: the basic single-SIM version and a dual-SIM version.
The price of the Acer Liquid S1 will be 349 euros in Italy, where it will arrive in the last quarter of 2013.
