The new MeeGo 1.1 release has just been made available: many useful updates for the Meego platform, based on Linux. Among the most important, updates to Core OS, Netbook UX, In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) UX, and Handset UX are noted.
Thanks to MeeGo 1.1, developers and manufacturers will be able to develop the new platform, customizing and updating, as anticipated, particularly Core OS, Netbook UX, In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) UX, and Handset UX.
The new platform is specifically designed for devices featuring Intel Atom and ARMv7 processor architectures.
The new MeeGo 1.1 release is already available, starting Friday, October 29, 2010.
