Confirming the rumors of the past few weeks, Apple has indeed presented the new smartphone model: it’s iPhone 5S.
The first technical feature that stands out is the fact that this new device is the first in the world to feature a desktop-class 64-bit architecture: a novelty, integrated into the new A7 chip, which has not gone unnoticed at all.
Another element that distinguishes this smartphone from its predecessors is theTouch ID technology, a recognition system that works via a sensor that detects fingerprints, located in the home button.
In addition to unlocking the phone with a single touch, this system also allows you to make purchases on the App Store and iTunes without having to type your password.
Apple, in wanting to ensure respect for privacy, stated that fingerprint information will not be transferred to the company’s servers but will remain saved – in an encrypted manner – only in the A7 processor.
As for the operating system, iPhone 5S uses iOS 7, with a series of improved features compared to the past.
Another step forward has been made for the camera compartment: iPhone 5S indeed has an 8-megapixel iSight camera with True Tone flash and autofocus twice as fast as before.
From an aesthetic point of view, it has remained on the standard of iPhone 5 but this time the decision has been made to focus on new colors for the case: silver, space gray, and gold.
All of this can be protected and personalized at the same time with the release of leather cases in various colors.
Regarding the release date in Italy, it has not yet been revealed, nor have the prices.

- iPhone 5S 16 GB: 699 euros
- iPhone 5S 32 GB: 799 euros
- iPhone 5S 64 GB: 899 euros.
