Want to know how to quickly free up WhatsApp phone storage without deleting messages?
Reviewing messages and deleting everything you no longer need is a tedious task. But there’s an elegant solution, and it takes only a few seconds to complete.
WhatsApp users can delete all messages, photos, videos, GIFs, contacts, locations, voice messages, documents, and stickers from each chat.
They can choose what they want to keep and what they want to delete.
For both iOS and Android users, the process is the same:
- Tap the menu (three vertical dots on the right), then
- Settings > Storage and data > Manage storage > Select contact > Manage > Select
- Select the relevant checkboxes next to what you wish to delete. Tap the trash can (top right), and space is freed up.
You can also sort by files taking up the most space, by newest, or by oldest by tapping the circle in the bottom left corner after tapping the contact.
