Retro design, feather-light weight, ease of use, and surprisingly high-quality stills and videos – this is the X-A7, FUJIFILM’s entry-level mirrorless camera.
With a compact body weighing just 320g (including battery and memory card), FUJIFILM X-A7 surprises with its practicality. Equipped with Fujifilm’s 24.2 MP APS-C CMOS image sensor, it instantly focuses on faces and eyes for portraits, action shots, and videos, reproducing stunning colors even in low light conditions.
These features are complemented by the ability to shoot smooth 4K footage, capture high-speed videos, and deliver advanced high ISO performance – features never before seen in this class of camera.
The newly designed 24.2 MP APS-C image sensor utilizes copper wiring for high-speed data readout and phase-detection pixels across the entire sensor. This allows the camera to boast a very fast and accurate AF system capable of quickly detecting and maintaining focus on moving eyes and faces, even in low light conditions.
The camera features a 3.5-inch 16:9 touchscreen LCD display with a maximum brightness of approximately 1,000 nits, allowing for live view image review even in broad daylight. The variable-angle LCD screen, a first for an X-A Series camera, enables unique framing or shooting subjects that would otherwise be difficult to capture.
The Portrait Enhancer mode, combined with Face/Eye AF, improves the quality and usability of self-portraits, easily achieving excellent focus and beautiful skin tones. Furthermore, the newly designed “Smart Menu” facilitates intuitive touchscreen operation, allowing even beginners to easily produce high-quality images.
For all these features, in addition to simple touch and tap functionality on the large screen, the X-A7 is ideal for those who want a camera to carry everywhere to capture extraordinary images and high-quality videos, also perfect for content creators and vloggers.
The FUJIFILM X-A7 bundled with the XC15-45mmF3.5-5.6 OIS lens, in Silver and Dark Silver versions, will be available from October 2019 at a suggested retail price of €769.99 including VAT.
