A crowdfunding campaign is underway until July 20 for a participatory art happening that will lead the public into a non-existent Naples represented in twelve impossible images by photographer Marco Maraviglia, through a “Neapolitan rebus” to be held at PAN- Palazzo delle Arti Napolithis coming winter.
It will be a journey through a new way of perceiving Naples. Twelve images that subvert the places of Partenope must be recognized in all their details to have the opportunity to win one of the works that will be exhibited, except for Metamorfosi Reloaded, the longest panorama of Naples in the worldbecause it will be printed in a single copy in the approximate dimensions of 800x30cm.
Until 9:00 AM on July 20, you can support the crowdfunding of Impossible Naples Projecton the platform Eppela.it (https://www.eppela.com/it/projects/8413-impossible-naples-project-un-happening-partecipativo) with donations starting from 5.00 euros.
Goal to reach: 9,000.00 (nine thousand) euros.
Everyone can participate, including companies with a minimum donation of 400.00 euros which, in return, besides having a reduced-format copy (275x20cm) signed and numbered of Metamorfosi Reloaded, the longest panorama of Naples in the world, will have their logo displayed on all event communications, including the back cover of the catalog!!!
Nothing like this has ever been done in Naples, a moment of participatory art during which visitors can interact with the exhibited images through a sheet on which to write the places they recognize in each one.
At the finissage, whoever has achieved the most correct answers will be awarded one of the exhibited works chosen by the winner themselves.
A Neapolitan rebus, a treasure hunt, a “sharpen your eyes” that will stimulate the public to trigger playful and identity-based mechanisms by traveling with their eyes, their minds, their imagination in a surreal dimension of the city.
