Just in time for the Christmas shopping season, Nokia’s new Lumia series smartphone, the Nokia Lumia 1520, has arrived in Italian electronics and mobile phone stores.
Its truly expansive 6-inch IPS LCD Full HD screen, with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, is immediately striking. It’s perfect for browsing, clearly accessing all functionalities, and especially for admiring photos taken with the device.
And speaking of photos, another major draw of this phablet is undoubtedly its camera. It features PureView technology, 20 megapixels, optical image stabilization, oversampling technology, and fast, precise zooming.
Everything can be photographed and/or filmed using Nokia Camera, then recounted and shared with Nokia Storyteller. This latter feature integrates seamlessly with Nokia’s HERE maps.
The Nokia Lumia 1520 also functions as a work tool, equipped with Microsoft Office. The complete suite is included, guaranteeing viewing in original formatting.
Naturally, the operating system is by Microsoft, and for the processor, the choice was the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800, a powerful 2.2 GHz Quad-core. RAM is 2 GB, and internal storage is 32 GB by default – decidedly excellent specifications.
Storage capacity can be expanded with a microSD card, and you will also automatically receive 7 GB of virtual storage space on Microsoft’s SkyDrive.
The battery capacity suggests good autonomy, with a 3400 mAh available.
Aesthetically, the colors available in Italy are Yellow, Red, White, and Black. Finally, the price of the Nokia Lumia 1520 is 699.90 euros.
