In September, Apple might actually present the new iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S: rumors are multiplying.
There’s constant chatter about Apple’s upcoming releases these days: the latest rumors suggest an official unveiling of the new iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C models in the first half of September.
This news – currently entirely unofficial – comes from the technology blog of The Wall Street Journal, “All Things D“.
The publication is betting on the reveal of at least the iPhone 5S during an official Apple event expected to take place on September 10th.
It’s also believed that the much-talked-about iPhone 5C, the so-called low-cost iPhone, which has been widely discussed in recent months, could also be presented at the same event.
Adding to the persistent rumors about new smartphone models, there are also reports concerning the likely release of a new iPad: according to very recent leaks, Apple is reportedly preparing a new tablet model, this time featuring an even larger screen.
This would be a 13-inch iPad, although its release is expected further down the line, possibly about a year from now.
It’s too early to know more about its technical specifications or even the existence of such a project.
However, for now, all attention is focused on the new iPhones: if the event is confirmed, we’ll soon know if the highly anticipated low-cost iPhone – iPhone 5C – truly exists, or if instead, a new iPhone is simply on its way, the successor, so to speak, to the current flagship iPhone 5.
