The Toshiba Excite Pure is one of the new tablets just presented by Toshiba: its price is the most affordable in the new series.
Toshiba has just unveiled its brand new tablet lineup, on the occasion of the industry event “Computex 2013“.
There are three new devices, but this article will focus solely on the Toshiba Excite Pure, the most affordable of the new tablets.
It is a device characterized by a 10.1-inch screen, with a resolution of 1280×800 pixels.
The natively available operating system is Android Jelly Bean version 4.2, while the processor is an Nvidia Tegra 3.
The RAM available will be 1 GB, and as for internal memory, there will be only one storage option, but not a basic one: the internal storage capacity will actually be 16 GB, expandable using – as always in these cases – a microSD card.
There is a 3-megapixel camera and furthermore, to expand the tablet’s capabilities, it will be possible to use and connect it to external monitors, thanks to the presence of a micro HDMI port for connection.
This tablet, as well as the others in the same recently announced series, will be available in the United States starting June 25th and – shortly thereafter – will also arrive in Europe.
The price of the Toshiba Excite Pure in the US market will be 299 dollars; however, there has not yet been an official announcement regarding the price for the domestic market.
