The next Apple event – WWDC 2013 – is just around the corner, and anticipation for potential news is palpable.
However, for a few weeks there were no particular rumors regarding the Apple world, but now new forecasts are arriving from Japan concerning the next iPhone model.
Specifically, the website Macotakara reveals that the production process for the colorful iPhone would have already started, with a first batch of about a thousand pieces, almost like prototypes.
From what is understood, the new iPhone could be sold in the colors green, red, gold, blue, orange, pink, white, and light blue.
What would make the difference compared to the latest model from Cupertino would be the design of the rear part, more similar to an iPod than the iPhone 5.
On the front, instead, the design and dimensions of Apple’s latest creation should be respected.
However, the material chosen for the construction of the new low-cost colorful iPhone would change significantly: the more expensive aluminum would be banned, and the choice would be plastic.
The website Macotakara also launches a release forecast, stating that initially, markets would be limited to emerging ones: there’s talk of an arrival in stores during the second half of 2013, with mass production starting in June or at the latest in July.
Finally, there’s also speculation about the price: it seems the new low-cost iPhone could cost around 350 euros.
