A dual core and dual SIM smartphone: this is the new Samsung Galaxy Core, just presented.
Samsung is launching a new smartphone model, this time dedicated to all those people who use two SIM cards and would therefore like to use a single device.
Here comes the new Samsung Galaxy Core, a device with an Android heart that positions itself in the mid-range price bracket.
As for its technical characteristics, the Samsung Galaxy Core runs on Android version 4.1 Jelly Bean and a 1.2 GHz (dual core) CPU, using Samsung’s developed TouchWiz interface.
The available RAM is 1 GB, while native internal storage is around 8 GB.
There is a single camera available, specifically 5 Megapixels; the display is 4.3 inches with an 800×480 pixel resolution.
The main and peculiar feature is therefore the availability of a dual SIM slot, a convenience that can be appreciated starting from May.
Samsung also announces that a Samsung Galaxy Core model with a single SIM slot will also be released, but this launch is scheduled for the summer, likely during the month of July.
Although confirmation regarding the price of the Samsung Galaxy Core is still pending, the starting price is rumored to be around 300 euros.
