Panasonic unveils a new camera, designed to be a useful tool not only for taking photos but also for fast sharing on social networks, via email, and to various devices.
This is the Panasonic Lumix GF6, equipped with the Venus Engine processor, high-precision “Light Speed AF” autofocus, and a built-in flash.
The sensor featured in this camera is a 16.0 Megapixel Live MOS, also suitable for recording full-HD (1920×1080, 50i) videos in AVCHD format with stereo sound.
Regarding sensitivity, the combination of the Live MOS Sensor and the Venus Engine processor enables work at 3200 ISO (Auto), extending up to 25600 ISO (Extended).
Numerous new creative filters are available for unique and engaging shots, thanks to the “Creative Control” which can also be activated – for some filters – in self-timer mode by selecting “Self Shot”.
The monitor is undoubtedly a standout feature: it’s a fully touch display, rotatable by 180 degrees, with approximately 1040K resolution. The scene can be previewed with precision, as external light reflections are significantly reduced.
The built-in flash has a guide number of GN6.3 ISO160ï½¥m / GN5.0 ISO100ï½¥m.
Finally, connectivity is ensured by Wi-Fi and NFC (Near Field Communication) modules, allowing for easy sharing of photos and videos. Not only that, but it also enables connecting the camera to your smartphone and tablet, allowing for remote control and operation.
Connecting the Panasonic Lumix GF6 to DLNA-compatible VIERA HD TVs is also an interesting possibility.
The price of the Panasonic Lumix GF6 has not yet been officially announced.
