Apple officially announces the arrival of the new 128 GB iPads in stores, with the presentation of prices and availability date.
The company Apple, as is well known, is never forthcoming with rumors and previews, always maintaining strict secrecy when it comes to launching new products.
Even when rumors began to circulate about the launch of new iPad tablets with greater storage capacity on the market, no confirmations or denials were received from Cupertino.
However, official confirmation of the existence of the new 128 GB iPad has arrived in recent minutes: Apple itself is announcing the news through a press release.
The occasion was likely also offered by the almost simultaneous launch of the operating system update, which has been available in the iOS 6.1 version for a couple of days.
And so, here are the details also on the 128 GB iPad, available for purchase starting February 5th in either white or black colors.
This will be the fourth-generation iPad, with a 9.7-inch Retina Display and only Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi + 3G + 4G connectivity modules.
At the same time, the prices for the 128 GB iPad have also been indicated:
– 128 GB Wi-Fi only iPad: 799 euros;
– 128 GB Wi-Fi + cellular iPad: 929 euros.
