Even Nokia Lumia will have a specific app for photography: it’s Camera Extra, arriving in the coming weeks.
It seems increasingly confirmed that one of the new trends related to the smartphone user experience is the interest in photos, taken and shared in a matter of moments.
Nokia is also decisively entering this sector and announces the photographic app available shortly for Nokia Lumia devices: its name is Camera Extra.
It will be a useful application to expand the current camera functions on Nokia-branded devices: in practice, it will be a package of features useful for shots in specific situations.
Focus, for example, on group photos: with the “Smart Group Shot” function, the camera will automatically take 5 continuous photos and determine which is the best framing and the best overall image. You can let the Camera Extra app decide, or you can choose manually.
For those who love landscapes, here is the “Panorama Shot” function that allows you to obtain wide, detailed, and aligned images. Just frame and move sideways: the application will do the rest automatically.
If, on the other hand, you aim to capture subjects in motion, then the available option is called “Action Shot“: with a maximum of 8 shots in rapid succession, it fully captures movement.
Finally, for those who prefer to photograph themselves, “Self-timer Shot” is the function for self-portraits.
The new Camera Extra application for Nokia Lumia will be available within the first days of July.
Will this app be enough to calm the protests of Nokia terminal owners who recently discovered that the operating system will not be updated to the new version Windows Phone 8?
In the meantime, here is the presentation video of Camera Extra.
