Samsung officially confirms that the release of the Jelly Bean update for the Samsung Galaxy S 3 is imminent.
Just a few more weeks of waiting, and then all new Samsung Galaxy S 3 smartphones will be able to benefit from the update to the latest version of the Android operating system: Jelly Bean is coming soon.
Official confirmation and a date were all that was missing, and now Samsung has announced that the update will be released during October.
It is not possible to pinpoint a specific day when the upgrade will be received because, as often happens in these cases, it is a gradual procedure that may take several weeks to cover the entire world with the Jelly Bean rollout.
In Europe, the first users to receive the Android 4.1 update will be those in the UK, followed by an expansion to other countries, including Italy.
Another piece of news that is now certain is that those who purchase the new Samsung Galaxy S III with 4G technology – even though the latter is not yet usable in our country – will automatically have Android Jelly Bean on board.
