A new smartphone has arrived: it’s the Motorola Droid RAZR HD, coming soon. Here are its features, while we await its price.
A few days ago, Motorola also revealed its hand in the smartphone sector, presenting three devices. The Motorola Droid RAZR HD is a high-end device, running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor.
A future update to Jelly Bean is planned: a minor point but direct release with the new Android operating system was expected, given that Motorola is now a Google-owned company.
The screen is striking: it’s decidedly large, with its 4.7-inch diagonal and the use of Super AMOLED technology that extends its usability across the entire display, leaving a very thin bezel that is physiologically necessary but almost imperceptible. Resistance is provided by Gorilla Glass protection, useful for shielding the device from scratches and bumps.
RAM is 1 GB, while internal storage is 16 GB but can be expanded using a microSD card.
The camera setup features an 8-megapixel main camera, while nothing has been clarified regarding the front-facing camera, although it is present.
The battery – as seems to be the standard for new smartphones – is significantly boosted compared to the past: this device comes with a 2530 mAh battery, allowing users to easily get through the day while relying on all the smartphone’s features.
Regarding the price of the Motorola Droid RAZR HD, nothing is certain, just as a launch date for its commercialization in Europe is not yet known.
