Everyone can try Windows 8: free download for developers and regular users is now available. Here’s how to get the full RTM version.

Official release of Windows 8, Microsoft‘s new operating system, is just a handful of weeks away. The roadmap foresaw the release of the full RTM version precisely these days, and indeed it has happened: it is already possible to download Windows 8.
This opportunity was thought to be offered only to developers registered in the scheduled release program, but in reality, everyone can download Windows 8.
A free trial version has been made available for regular users: for 90 days, you can test the new Windows 8, identical to the one available to developers.
In practice, you can get acquainted with the new operating system until mid-November, just in time for a potential purchase that can be made starting October 26th, the official product launch date and likely the release of the Surface tablet.
The currently available Windows 8 is in 32 and 64-bit versions and, importantly for many “average” users, it is also in Italian.
The differences with the June preview are few and not substantial: the absence of Aero should be noted, as well as the “preview” label. The graphics of some icons are slightly different, while what should be emphasized is that download and installation times have been reduced.
