Fujitsu Arrows ES IS12F immediately stands out for two undeniable features: first of all, its exterior appearance is striking, as you’ll be holding a truly ultra-slim smartphone.
We’re talking about a mere 6.7 millimeters thickness: almost a wafer.
Another point to consider is its resistance to water, as well as scratches and dust; all of this is also attested by the IPX5 and IPX8 certifications obtained by this new smartphone.
It’s important to state right away that Fujitsu Arrows ES IS12F, presented at CES 2012, will initially only be sold in Japan, and it’s still unknown if and when this model will arrive in Europe or America.
As for its technical specifications, it includes a 4-inch AMOLED full touchscreen display (480×800 pixel resolution), equipped with Gorilla Glass.
The processor is a Qualcomm MSM8655 1.4GHz Snapdragon, supported by the Android Gingerbread 2.3 operating system, 512 MB of RAM, and 1GB of internal memory.
The camera is 5 megapixels and it’s also possible to use digital TV.
Currently, it’s not possible to know if it’s compatible with non-Japanese SIM cards, so purchasing it abroad for use outside Japan might be a gamble.
For completeness of information, it should be noted that the price of the Fujitsu Arrows ES IS12F is just under 600 euros: 57,800 yen.
