Nokia presents a smartphone at a lower price compared to its bigger brother: it’s the Nokia Lumia 710, useful for those who want their social world at their fingertips.
Nokia Lumia 710 is the second flagship smartphone just unveiled during Nokia World 2011, taking place in London.
Despite some fundamental features it shares with its bigger brother Nokia Lumia 800, the Lumia 710 stands out as a more economical solution, with its price of 270 euros just officially announced by Nokia.
At first glance, the Lumia 710 seems perfectly suited for a younger demographic, given its affordability and the colors in which it is available: as can be seen from the photo and the gallery of the Nokia Lumia 710 prepared by FullPress, the base is white or black, but you can customize it with interchangeable back covers in black, white, cyan, fuchsia, and yellow.
Its core runs on Windows Phone Mango, with a 1.4 GHz processor, hardware acceleration, and a graphics processor, all exactly like on the Nokia Lumia 800.
Particularly evident is the sharing aspect, with specific image sharing features and fast browsing speeds on the integrated Internet Explorer 9, in full alignment with Microsoft, partner in this launch of new smartphones.
The camera is a 5-megapixel with HD video recording capabilities, all supported by 1 GB of RAM. The design is rounded and the chassis houses the 3.7-inch ClearBlack display.
This would indeed be the device that rumors referred to as “Nokia Sabre”.
The Nokia Lumia 710 will also arrive in Italian stores and outlets during November at Nokia’s recommended price of 299 euros, tax included.
