The Samsung Omnia W – with its full name Samsung GT-i8350 Omnia W – is officially arriving in Italy, bringing its share of innovations and introducing the combination with Windows Phone 7.5.
Samsung has officially announced the release of the new Samsung Omnia W in Italy as well: the smartphone will be distributed starting from the end of October.
This is the first Samsung device equipped with the Windows Phone 7.5 operating system, a new offering from Microsoft of which Samsung executives say they are very satisfied.
Samsung Omnia W boasts a clean, essential, and functional design: the standout feature is undoubtedly the display, a 3.7-inch Super AMOLED screen, perfect for viewing photos and videos captured by the 5-megapixel camera, complete with an LED flash.
The processor installed on the Samsung Omnia W is a 1.4GHz, RAM is 512 MB, while internal memory is 8 GB; as for the battery, it’s a 1,500 mAh.
HSPA+ connectivity up to 14.4 Mbps is also supported by Bluetooth 2.1 and WiFi 802.11b/g/n.
Some social applications are already included, allowing for quick and intuitive sharing via Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
The price of the Samsung Omnia W has not yet been officially confirmed by the manufacturer, but it is estimated to be around 400 euros. In any case, more information will be available soon, considering its upcoming distribution for sale.
