The month of September will bring news from Nokia: the update for Symbian Anna is coming, it’s official. The new updated operating system is preparing to arrive in Italy as well.

Following the launch of Symbian Anna, which FullPress reported on the day after its presentation, there is also news regarding its update.
Owners of smartphones equipped with the Symbian Anna operating system – thus Nokia N8, Nokia E7, Nokia C7, and Nokia C6-01 – can count on the update that, during the month of September, will also be made available in Italy.
In a sense, this is what we could call the “last train” for Nokia, from an operating system perspective: Anna is indeed the last product of this type to be released, given that the effects of the agreement between Nokia and Microsoft should soon become evident to consumers.
In the coming months, in fact, smartphones that will be launched on the market will no longer have Nokia’s proprietary operating system, but rather Windows Phone 7.
Nokia is in a particular phase of its corporate life: from an almost undisputed giant in global telephony, it has found itself a step behind other names in the smartphone sector.
Mobile development has been so rapid and has imposed only a few realities from the outset, leaving Nokia behind, although today it is ready for a sort of new debut thanks to the alliance with Microsoft.
This does not seem to have led to a total abandonment of Nokia projects, and in fact Symbian Anna represents a form of continuity that the company is showing its users, for a gradual transition to Windows Phone 7 that does not, in any way, compromise the full use and potential of Nokia devices currently on the market.
