Where was Osama Bin Laden found? The most curious can see Bin Laden’s hideout on Google Maps. Mountain View has indeed included the coordinates of the location, which has been quickly reviewed by a large number of people, complete with photos.
Discovering where the so-called “Bin Laden compound” was located – the place where he hid, at least in the final days of his life, and where he was subsequently found – is now possible. Google Maps provides the coordinates, placing Bin Laden’s hideout in a location called Abbottabad, Pakistan. Simply type “Osama bin Laden’s Compound, Abbottabad” into the search bar to view the map.
There is nothing surprising about this: locating a place on Google Maps has become an operation within everyone’s reach.
What is most striking is another detail: accompanying the geographical information, a series of reviews quickly appeared and are multiplying by the hour.
You can read everything there: from the wildest joy, to jokes, to phrases that you would typically read about hotels or vacation spots, and of course, serious and subjective opinions about Bin Laden’s death.
In addition, photos have been included – currently, nine can be viewed – showing a somewhat dilapidated two-story building surrounded by trees, even equipped with a satellite dish.
Once again, the internet is what – before traditional information – reveals details and specifics about news events: it is no coincidence that just yesterday we talked about how it was a tweet that announced Bin Laden’s death.
While the world discusses the details of the raid that led to the capture and killing of the so-called prince of terror, we offer you the video of the announcement of Osama Bin Laden’s death made by the White House through President Obama of the United States of America.
