Three versions of the new HERO11 Black camera: HERO11 Black, the HERO11 Black Creator Edition bundle, and HERO11 Black Mini. All three cameras feature a new larger sensor, delivering the highest resolution, 10-bit color depth, stabilization, and field of view ever offered on a HERO camera.

Additionally, these new cameras will take GoPro subscription to the next level: those who purchase one of the new HERO11 Black will benefit from innovative features, such as receiving extraordinary highlight videos directly to their smartphone. Simply connect the HERO11 Black to charge it, and the camera will transfer the footage captured in the last few hours to your GoPro cloud account, where it will be edited into a highlight video that will be sent via the GoPro Quik app. This feature will be available only to GoPro subscribers who own a HERO5 Black camera or a more recent model.

Each of the three new HERO11 Black cameras is designed to meet the diverse needs of customers, depending on their preferences and requirements. The best HERO cameras are now available in three versions:

2. HERO11 Black Creator Edition Bundle: a powerful creative content production center, an all-in-one suite that makes creating vlogs, cinematic shots, and live streams easier than ever, all packed into an ultra-lightweight design that fits in the palm of your hand. The Creator Edition offers the same performance as the HERO11 Black but adds a grip with an integrated battery – which can therefore recharge the camera during use, ensuring, for example, over four hours of recording at 4K – and convenient buttons for single-handed GoPro control. The HERO11 Black Creator Edition bundle also includes an optional directional microphone, an external microphone input, an HDMI port for connecting to external displays, a powerful LED light, and two cold shoe mounts for installing additional accessories.
3. HERO11 Black Mini: a smaller, lighter, and simpler version of the HERO11 Black, offering all the performance of the original but in a reduced size. The new larger sensor offers 10-bit footage and the widest, most immersive field of view ever seen on a HERO camera.
The new 1/1.9” sensor captures 1 billion colors in 10-bit video with up to 5.3K/60 fps resolution (on HERO11 Black and HERO11 Black Mini), as well as 27-megapixel photos (on HERO11 Black) for images that are even more faithful to how they are perceived by the human eye. The result is 64 times more colors in 10-bit video compared to the 16.7 million colors in 8-bit video: an incredible leap forward in image quality compared to previous GoPro cameras.

The new larger sensor on the HERO11 Black also allows for viewing video in 8:7 aspect ratio, for the widest vertical field of view ever on a GoPro. Now you can capture a wider vertical portion of the scene, with the ability to crop videos into different formats in the GoPro Quik app. It’s the perfect solution for simultaneously creating vertical content in 9:16 format, ideal for Instagram and TikTok, as well as high-resolution cinematic 16:9 footage for YouTube or the big screen. You can also zoom in on the best sections of videos to create high-resolution close-ups.

The new sensor also enables HyperView, the widest 16:9 field of view offered by a HERO camera. Ideal for POV shots on a bike, skis, surfboard, motorcycle, and similar activities, HyperView makes exciting outdoor activities even more heroic than before. All three HERO11 Black cameras feature:

• Emmy-winning HyperSmooth 5.0 stabilization with integrated 360-degree Horizon Lock, which keeps your footage level even when the camera rotates during recording.

• Beginner and Pro modes for enhanced camera control: Beginner mode allows for effortless recording with the best settings for any situation, while the Pro option offers maximum creative control over the HERO11 camera.
• Included Enduro battery, which significantly improves camera performance in low and moderate temperatures, extending recording times by up to 38% on the HERO11 Black. The Enduro battery is included in the retail package of the HERO11 Black and the HERO11 Black Creator Edition bundle, while it is integrated into the HERO11 Black Mini.

The HERO11 Black Creator Edition bundle is available worldwide for €659.98 for GoPro subscribers, and €779.99 without a subscription. HERO11 Black Mini will be available on GoPro.com starting October 25, 2022, for €349.98 for GoPro subscribers, and €449.99 without a subscription. It will subsequently be distributed to retailers worldwide.
