The “artwork” design TV from Samsung is available in 55″ and 65″ sizes at MediaWorld stores and for Tim subscribers on the operator’s portal. From September, it will also be available at B&B Italia stores.
After capturing the attention of the public and industry professionals during its international presentation and launch,The Frame Samsung, the design TV that transforms into a work of art, conceived by the famous Swiss designer Yves Behar, is finally on sale in Italy in 55 and 65-inch sizes at MediaWorld stores and on Tim’s online channels for the operator’s subscribers. Furthermore, from September, it will also be available at B&B Italia stores, a leading Italian company in the international design furniture sector and a Samsung partner.
“Like all Samsung products, we conceived The Frame by listening to the needs and tastes of consumers. The TV still plays a central role in Italian homes, and The Frame represents the ultimate for those who see it as a design object characterized by essential, pure, and refined forms. The Frame is a concept that explores a new path for the use of this product, starting to make it come alive even when it’s off, like a painting”, statedMarco Hannappel, Vice President of Samsung Electronics Italia. “It is also for these reasons that we are happy to begin reaping the rewards of this project in Italy. The public’s response in Italy is giving us great satisfaction, precisely because The Frame is the TV that appeals to the modern, discerning, and attentive consumer, who considers the aesthetics of a product as important as its technology.”
Samsung has once again worked with Yves Behar, the renowned Swiss designer, to create the innovative premium design TV, The Frame, and to offer its audience an elegant stylistic object that can perfectly integrate with the decor of any home, enhancing any room or area dedicated to watching TV.
Based on new and innovative technology, when the “Art Mode” is active, The Frame looks like a picture hanging on the wall, allowing consumers to choose their favorite digital works of art directly from the TV screen from over 100 pictures, by 37 famous artists, spanning 10 different genres – including landscapes, architectural subjects, action, painting, photography, and more. Special sensors will always ensure the perfect image, both day and night: the “Brightness Sensor” automatically adjusts brightness and color levels based on the ambient light conditions, while the “Motion Sensor” allows the TV to automatically turn on and off when someone is present in the room.
Innovative and customizable works of art and accessories make The Frame an object designed to enhance any environment: the new “Invisible Connection,” a single optical cable, eliminates messy cables around the TV forever, ensuring maximum installation flexibility, order, and style, while the “No Gap Wall-Mount” bracket allows you to find the ideal position and minimize the empty space between the wall and the TV panel, making it effectively a picture hanging on the wall. Other extra accessories, such as customizable frames in different colors – dark brown, beige, and white – and the “Studio Stand” floor stand, further enhance the TV’s aesthetics.
The Frame was awarded the Best Innovation Award at CES 2017, the very important consumer electronics show held in the United States at the beginning of the year. Furthermore, until November 26, 2017, it will be exhibited at Viva Arte Viva, the 57th International Art Exhibition of the Venice Biennale. Samsung has indeed provided 15 models to be displayed during the event at the Korean Pavilion, the official press room, and the VIP lounge. Available in Italy.
