Fire HDX 8.9: All Prices for Amazon’s New Tablet

Amazon is about to launch a series of new devices, among which a new tablet decidedly stands out.
It will be called Fire HDX 8.9 and will be positioned in the high-end segment, given its technical specifications.
Along with the specifications, the sale price has also been made official: the Fire HDX 8.9 will cost starting from 379 euros.
In fact, we should speak in the present tense since the device has already been made available for pre-order directly on Amazon.it.
Let’s get to the details, starting with the screen: it’s an 8.9-inch display made with Gorilla Glass 3 and with a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels.
The operating system is Android but with an interface customization made according to the parameters of Fire OS 4, also known by the code name “Sangria”, with support for the Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 Quad-Core processor at 2.5 GHz and 2 GB of RAM.
Internal storage, on the other hand, can be chosen according to the storage capacity desired, with versions available for 16 GB, 32 GB, or 64 GB.
There are two cameras, and the main one is 8 MP. Finally, regarding connectivity, there will be a version with Wi-Fi and another with the possibility of using LTE networks as well.

At the moment, as mentioned at the beginning of the article, it is possible to proceed with pre-orders, keeping in mind that shipments will begin to be made starting November 4th.

– Fire HDX 8.9 32 GB: 429 euros;
– Fire HDX 8.9 64 GB: 479 euros.
