Transformer Pad Infinity and Transformer Prime are about to be officially updated to Jelly Beans, according to Asus.
Asus has recently announced that the update to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean for some recent devices on the market is ready.
Attention is particularly focused on Transformer Pad Infinity (TF700) and Transformer Prime (TF201), currently equipped with the previous operating system Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
The rollout will initially start, and already in the coming hours, only in Sweden, the first European country to receive the update.
Italian users, however, will not take long to see the upgrade on the aforementioned devices, since on the Asus Italia Facebook page, in response to specific questions about when it would be possible to receive the Jelly Bean update, the staff replied stating that everything will be ready for a generic “end of the month”.
In particular, continuing to sift through the answers given by the always punctual Asus Italia staff, the date should be September 28th, according to the roadmap the company plans to maintain, but which could have some minor unforeseen events that would theoretically postpone the procedure by a few days.
This is therefore a period of new developments at Asus, which, in a couple of weeks, plans to unveil a new device: the Padfone 2 will be presented on the Italian market on October 16, 2012, simultaneously with the event scheduled in Taiwan.
An important signal for the Italian market
