Recipe and Cooking Apps on Smartphones: Nokia Loves Food Blogs

Nokia is paying attention to current trends and opening its Ovi Store to numerous cooking apps and recipe apps. Food bloggers, with their web spaces, are becoming protagonists on smartphones.

Searching for online recipes and cooking advice is becoming an increasingly consistent trend. Nokia is well aware of this and is dedicating ample space to recipe apps on its Ovi Store.
There are over 40 applications dedicated to cooking in the catalog, so you can always have cookbooks and kitchen tips available on your smartphone, useful for beginners and for those simply looking for ideas for lunch and dinner.
Some cooking apps on Ovi Store were created directly by food bloggers, while others are simply recommended and used by them.
Many culinary stars on the web, thanks to the Ovi App Wizard software, have been able to easily “convert” their blog pages into applications.
From there to inclusion in Ovi Store, the step was short, as was the possibility of downloading and using the same apps, leading to culinary innovation.
Not just recipes on smartphones, therefore, but also news and timely updates from individual blogs, normally followed on a PC.
And so the blog is served!, on the go: among the applications, we can find those from “Il Gamberetto”, “Il pasto nudo”, “Anicestellato”, “Lost in Kitchen”, Una streghetta in cucina, “Muffins, cookies & pasticci” and many more.
Most of the cooking apps for Nokia can be downloaded for free from Ovi Store; indeed, a very small number have a (albeit small) price to pay.
