Nikon D810: Price and High-End Features

Nikon D810 It's the new high-end camera officially announced by the company: here are its features and price.

Nokia has officially announced the release of a new full-frame camera: it's called Nikon D810 and is in fact the heir to the Nikon D800.
It is precisely from the latter that it takes several important elements, the starting point on which to then improve and propose some innovations.
The new Nikon D810 is designed with the same sensor as its predecessor, a 36-megapixel one. However, the new arrival does not have an optical anti-aliasing filter; it is an FX-type filter and has new microlenses to capture even more light.
The ISO range goes from 64 to 12,800 ISO which can be increased to a minimum of 32 ISO and a maximum of 51,200 ISO, obviously equivalent.
As for the image processor on which it was decided to focus, it is the EXPEED 4, fast, precise, responsive and always ready.
So much so that it also turns out that the speed and quality of burst shooting have been improved: five frames per second can now be achieved by choosing the FX mode.
The Auto Focus system – AF Advanced Multi-CAM 3500FX – is also faster as it uses a better grouping of its 51 points (15 of which are cross-type): more precise, it reacts well even in less than optimal conditions, i.e. when the scene is poorly lit.

Sharpness is also enhanced for freehand shots, with reduction of micro-blur, thanks to the new set and the new “dialogue” set for the shutter and mirror box.
Full HD video has also been improved, now possible in FX mode and DX mode at 1080p and 60p, with stereo audio mode.
Images can be edited right out of the box using the anti-reflective 1229-dot LCD display and Picture Control 2.0 system.
From an aesthetic, ergonomic and design point of view, there are no major changes: overall, nothing has been revolutionized.
The Nikon D810 price At the moment it has been released only for the US market and has been set at $3299.
Nothing is known yet about the recommended retail price in Italy, but more information will be available soon, which we will share with you shortly.
